HURON, SD, March 20, 2024 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is accepting applications for grants to support urban agriculture and innovative production. Applications for USDA’s Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production grants are due April 9, 2024, via grants.gov.
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, Feb. 16, 2023 – Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that agricultural producers and private landowners can begin applying for the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) General signup starting February 27 through April 7, 2023. CRP is a cornerstone voluntary conservation program offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and a key tool in the Biden-Harris administration’s effort to address climate change and help agricultural communities invest in the long-term well-being of their land and natural resources.
Program Participants in South Dakota Eligible to Donate Grazing and Haying Rights
HURON, South Dakota, March 26, 2024 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) authorizes the release of emergency haying and grazing of Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) acres nationwide, including CRP acres in South Dakota, to livestock producers affected by the recent wildfires in Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.
Reno, Nevada April 22, 2021 —Nevada’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) would like to announce the opening of the Las Vegas County Office to better serve agricultural Producers in Clark County.
Blane Merkley will serve as the County Executive Director (CED) of the Las Vegas and Ely County Offices. These offices are responsible for serving agricultural producers in Clark, Lincoln, Southeast Nye and White Pine counties.
