About
Robin Talley was appointed by the Biden Administration to serve as the State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Delaware in November 2021.
Talley was raised on a dairy farm and chose a career in agriculture when she entered the University of Delaware where she earned a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and a Master of Business Administration. She started working for FSA in 1984 and has held several roles with the Agency. Most recently, Talley served as a District Director overseeing loan and program operations in Delaware. Her service to agriculture has been recognized numerous times by USDA and farm organizations.
Talley is also active in the agriculture community outside of work. She served as a trustee and volunteer for the Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village. The museum provides educational programs for students, and for many, is their only connection with agriculture. She also supports other important youth organizations, such as 4-H and FFA.
Talley is a recipient of the George M. Worrilow Award, presented by the University of Delaware Ag Alumni Association for outstanding service to agriculture and a fellow of LEADelaware, an agriculture and natural resources leadership program.
Talley is a Delaware native and resides in Dover with her husband.
