Mark Gibbons was appointed by the Biden Administration to serve as the State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Utah in June 2022.

Gibbons is a third-generation dairy farmer from Lewiston, Utah. His family operates a 1200-acre farm where they milk roughly 700 cows each day.

Gibbons previously served as State Executive Director for FSA in Utah. He has also served as President of the Utah Farmers Union, Dairy Producers of Utah, and the Governors Agriculture Advisory Board. He was Vice President of the Western States Dairy Producers Trade Association, a Utah State FFA Foundation Board member, and served on several other farm related committees.

Gibbons was a Lewiston City Council member for four years, overseeing infrastructure, roads, and water improvements. He was also chairman of the Lewiston 4th of July Celebration, Rodeo and Parade as well as music director in his church.

He is a graduate of Skyview High School in Smithfield, Utah. Gibbons and his wife Shanna have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren.
