USDA Releases Nationwide Farmer and Forest Manager Prospective Customer Survey

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9, 2022 – Producers can now take a nationwide survey to help the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) improve and increase access to its programs and services for America’s farmers, ranchers, and forest managers. The survey includes new and existing customers. USDA encourages all agricultural producers to take the survey, especially those who have not worked with USDA previously.

USDA Invests in Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production Effort in Denver

DENVER, Colo., Sept. 12, 2023 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing approximately $350,000 in a grant to the International Rescue Committee in Denver for its New Roots: Seeds of Change program. The project is funded through USDA’s Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production (UAIP) grant program, which last month announced $7.4 million in funding nationwide. The grant will enable the International Rescue Committee to work with refugee communities to promote urban agriculture in the Denver area.
