Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Posey Counties in Indiana are Contiguous Counties

INDIANAPOLIS, June 13 - This Presidential disaster declaration allows the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) to extend much-needed emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans. Emergency loans can be used to meet various recovery needs including the replacement of essential items such as equipment or livestock, reorganization of a farming operation, or to refinance certain debts. FSA will review the loans based on the extent of losses, security available, and repayment ability.

Impacted Area: Kentucky

Triggering Disaster: Severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, landslides and mudslides that occurred on April 2, 2024.

Application Deadline: January 22, 2025

Primary Counties Eligible: Kentucky Counties of Boyd, Carter, Fayette, Greenup, Henry, Jefferson, Jessamine, Mason, Oldham, Union and Whitley.

Contiguous Counties Also Eligible:

Illinois: Gallatin and Hardin

Indiana: Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Posey

Kentucky: Bell, Bourbon, Bracken, Bullitt, Carroll, Clark, Crittenden, Elliott, Fleming, Franklin, Garrard, Hardin, Henderson, Knox, Laurel, Lawrence, Lewis, McCreary, Madison, Mercer, Owen, Robertson, Rowan, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, Webster and Woodford

Ohio: Adams, Brown, Lawrence and Scioto

Tennessee: Campbell and Claiborne

West Virginia: Wayne
